Founded in 2013 by Rick Hagen, and Greg Meyer, Heavy Riff Brewing Company was built from the ground up by friends, family, and a shared obsession with great beer and great music. Located in the heart of Dogtown, St. Louis, our taproom brings together tradition, creativity, and a playlist that never misses.

At Heavy Riff, we brew with soul — using classic methods and bold ideas to create beers that are as memorable as your favorite song. With 25 rotating taps, house-smoked BBQ, and a passion for rock-and-roll, we've created a space where craft and community collide.
